Cat located in this city: South Daytona, FL
Cat’s Name: Maui

Cat’s Age & S*x: At least 1 yr old Male
(likely older but we don’t know for sure)

Cat’s vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped): Maui was spayed and vaccinated on 5/20/26 as part of a TNR effort but we knew from the first time we met him that he was friendly and adoptable so he has a microchip instead of a tipped ear. He’s also been treated for fleas and dewormed.

Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome): This gentle giant (16lbs of solid muscle!) was found living outside a local extended stay hotel but he’s just too friendly to stay outside.

Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): Maui is one cool cat! He’s one of the most unique and impressive male cats we’ve ever seen. He is a beautiful tux with some scars that we like to call his “tattoos” just like Maui from the movie Moana. Or maybe he’s even more like the actor who played him-Dwayne Johnson, “The Rock,” if he were a cat. :-)

Maui is NOT shy-he’s almost immediately friendly, loving, gentle, chatty (don’t be late with the food because this guy LOVES to eat and he’s not afraid to tell you when he’s peckish!!) He is just the sweetest guy and we want him to have the best indoor life with some humans who will finally give him the love and peace he deserves.
If you can’t see it here -copy and paste this YouTube link into your browser to see a video of him!

https://youtube.com/shorts/k_GL7q_UARE?feature=shared

We did have him tested while in the clinic and he is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) so ideally, he would be a single cat. (While there's no cure, FIV-positive cats can live long, healthy lives with proper indoor care, a balanced diet, and regular vet check-ups to manage opportunistic infections.)

Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): Some food, favorite toys to help with the transition (he loves his catnip banana!)

What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): Maui thinks he’s bulking up for the World’s Strongest Cat competition and loves his wet food…A LOT. He has been eating mainly wet food since he’s been inside.

:::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. At the VERY minimum each cat should get one 3oz. can of wet food a day or HALF of a 5.5oz. can a day (although we recommend double this).
:::::::::::: More info here: FurryNationSalvation.Org/wetfood
IF YOU WANT TO ADOPT:
1) Please show up with a cat carrier.
2) Small adoption fee of: $20
3) We will call/text one month from adoption day just to make sure everything is going well.
4) Please show up with your Driver's License.
5) Information sheet will be filled out (your information as well as mine).
*Please know, that when you bring your newly adopted cat or kitten home, it is always BEST to place him/her in a very small room (bathroom works great) with their litter box, food, water, and bed for a few days to a few weeks. This way the animal can adjust much quicker and get acclimated to the new environment with less stress. All cats/kittens need time to adjust, so if you adopt please allow this. Thank you.

Cat located in this city: South Daytona, FL

Cat’s Name: Bluebelle

Cat’s Age & S*x: Approx 1 yr old female

Cat’s vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped):
Bluebelle was spayed and vaccinated as part of a TNR effort on 5/13/26 so she has a little left ear tip. (We didn’t know she was so friendly!)

Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome): This little blue beauty was found living outside a local extended stay hotel and was abandoned . we realized she LOVES being inside and LOVES being petted and knew we had to get her off the streets.. Now we want to find a loving, relaxed inside home environment where she can continue to thrive.

Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): Bluebelle may be a little shy at first but allowed us to pet her almost immediately during her recovery. Within just a couple weeks, she allowed us to pick her up and carry her around like a baby. What a sweetheart!
Here is a video on YouTube. If you can’t see it here just copy and paste this link into your browser.
https://youtube.com/shorts/FusfsHjeswA?feature=shared

She’s in a home with other cats and has made “under door contact” but no direct contact yet. It seems like she’ll do well with a continued gentle intro (see below).

At this point in her life, she’s looking for a quiet place to call home, where she can choose to wander around or just take some quiet naps in a sunny window.

Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): Some food, favorite toys to help with the transition.

What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): Bluebelle loves her wet food and has been eating mainly wet food since she’s been inside.

Cat’s vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped):
they are spayed/neutered/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Kittens located Ormond Beach and are 4 months old

Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome) A mom cat was discovered who needed a warm safe place during a cold snap. Fortunately, she had the boys the very next day. She was such a wonderful loving mom cat. The boys have been handled and loved from day 1.

Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): Both are inquisitive, playful and loving. P***y is more outgoing and Hudson relies on him for guidance and security. They are just such a precious bonded duo.

Cat located in this city:Port Orange

Cat’s Name:Shadow- short hair with lots of white and black
Tom-Ginger tabby 4 year old male

Cat’s Age & S*x: both are 4 years & Male

Cat’s vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped): neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.
Will put a new dose of flea prevention on just prior to adoption!

Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome): We found them both at an adoption center and took them in. We can no longer afford to keep them as we have come into some financial issues and know we have to place them in a more stable environments. We hope to find them the best homes as they are such sweet boys . This is such a hard decision.

Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes):
SHADOW-black and white -He is more of a lap cat.- He is attention hungry and super social. He will, in many ways, let you know what he wants. He has slept with me consistently and loves to be loved!
TOM -orange tabby- He can be a lap cat but can also be shy at first. Once he is attached to someone he will always want to be with you. He does sleep in bed with me occasionally and with other members of my home. He is still playful and is definitely a more calm kitty.

What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): they are eating Dry only but the rescue lady just talked to us about how important wet food is for all cats to have. We hope in his new home he can start eating more wet food and limiting the dry so he’ll eat it all - and won’t develop any health issues

✨ ADOPT ME ✨

❤️ Theresa Cookie is still waiting for her FABulous forever home!

Some of you may remember the video we posted when Theresa Cookie escaped outside and had us completely panicked. Thankfully, we found her safe and sound!

What we didn't tell you at the time was that her potential adopter was scheduled to come meet her THAT VERY DAY. Unfortunately, we had to cancel the meet-and-greet while we searched for our runaway girl, and afterward, the adopter decided not to reschedule. 😩

Now we're wondering... was this all part of Theresa Cookie's master plan? 🤔

Either way, this FABULOUS feline is still looking for her person.

Theresa Cookie is the definition of a companion cat. She'll happily follow you from room to room, supervise all your daily activities, and curl up beside you whenever she gets the chance. She loves attention, enjoys being held, welcomes kisses, and is always ready for playtime.

She's also quite the chatterbox! Expect conversations around breakfast and dinner time. Theresa Cookie has always eaten wet food (two 3-ounce cans daily), which helps keep her healthy and hydrated—the way cats thrive best. She can occasionally give a little love nibble if she's overstimulated, but she's very easy to read and communicate with.

Theresa Cookie's journey hasn't been easy. She was rushed to an emergency veterinarian when she couldn't deliver one of her kittens and required a life-saving C-section. After entering rescue, she earned the nickname "Mother Theresa" because she not only cared for her own kittens but also helped raise orphaned babies who needed a mom.

She was adopted once, and we truly believed it was forever. Sadly, her adopter lost her job and home, and Theresa Cookie found herself back in rescue through no fault of her own.

She enjoys life here at Furry Nation Salvation, but what she really wants is a family to call her own again. ❤️

Could that be you?

📞 To meet Theresa Cookie, call or text her foster mom at 386-295-2755

Hey...it's me Huddle!

I know, I know.

My foster mom hasn't updated everyone for awhile.

But...I'm doing great. She said I'm almost 10 pounds now. I still have to take this medicine stuff every night, but she said I should get to be done with that soon too! I don't mind it too much because right after medicine time is...dinner time. That is one of the best parts of the day. Sheba...mmmm!

I feel a lot better than I used to when I first met my foster mom. I like to play now. My favorite thing to do is to chase the ping pong ball, which is also fun to bunny kick. My foster mom says I'm silly when I do that.

Oh....and let me tell you about my friend Foxy. I really didn't like her at first. I would grumble, growl and hiss...but now we're best friends. We play and I like to snuggle against her while we do bird watching out the window.

I don't really understand why, but my foster mom says I will have to leave soon. She says I will get to go live with another family who will love me and let me sit in their laps just like she does. I hope that they don't put me outside to live because that's where I got really hurt before. I hope they will love me and let me play with my ping pong ball forever and ever!

Anyways, I have to run. I think I heard that rare bird I've been waiting to get a look at.

XOXO
Huddle

Huddle originally came to us several months ago after being brought to the shelter with a diaphragmatic hernia. We rescued him and got him to Dr Nancy right away. Dr Nancy did some bloodwork and found that he had some numbers that indicated he had FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). He wasn't eating and was very lethargic, but we had to get his hernia repaired first. His liver and small intestine were pushed into his chest area from either a traumatic fall or being kicked 😪
Huddle had a very tough recovery after his surgery and we weren't sure he'd pull through. Due to the persistence of Dr Nancy, we were able to determine that he needed some digestion meds to settle things in his tummy after the surgery. He also started FIP meds. Within a few weeks, he improved tremendously and started gaining weight (he was down to about 5.7 pounds at his sickest moment). Huddle is still on FIP meds, but we are checking bloodwork soon to see if he can stop. His AG (albumin globulin) ratio was back to the normal range on his last check, but we just wanted to do the meds a little longer to ensure that the nasty virus is COMPLETELY eliminated from his body. We will update everyone soon once we get his blood checked again! Thank you to everyone who sent over well wishes and donations for his care. Thank you Dr Nancy and Mr Jack for all their help with him as well!
