Meet Sonic! Sonic finished up his Stay & Train recently and was doing wonderfully at his follow up. He came in struggling with confidence and impulsivity that had led him into some poor habits. His owner wanted to feel confident in his behavior in public and make sure they had open communication and a sense of trust between them. Sonic picked up skills quickly and that enabled us to work on a lot of confidence building and impulse control. Weā€™d like to take credit for training the head tilt and smile, but he came in prepped with that skill set šŸ¤©

Meet Goose! Goose finished his Stay & Train and was back for his follow up today. Heā€™s doing so well! Goose came in having difficulty with crate behavior, struggling with some separation anxiety and was reactive to other dogs. Goose turned out to be equal parts stubborn and sweet. Goose thrived with structure and predictability. We are always careful to not create the same routine day after day so dogs donā€™t become too literal, but there are clear principles that become expected each day and Goose was eager to settle into that structure. His crate behavior improved, he gained confidence, learned to relax and trust the process and picked up skills like a champ. And we love having littles come stay and may or may not be caught wandering around with them in our arms for a snuggle occasionally šŸ˜‰

Meet Fred! Fred has been taking private lessons and also stayed for a brief Stay & Train. He was really struggling with separation anxiety and reactivity towards other dogs. Heā€™s made a tremendous amount of progress! Heā€™s increasingly relaxed when crated when his owners leave and has settled down around other dogs. Although occasionally stubborn (hello, beagles! šŸ˜‰), heā€™s proven to be an eager student and picks up skills quickly. Heā€™s a great little pup!

Meet Roxy! Roxy finished up her Stay & Train a few weeks ago and weā€™ve been getting some wonderful updates from her owner! Roxie came in chasing shadows, pulling on leash, nipping at peopleā€™s heels when they run and reactive to dogs on the television. What we saw right away was that Roxy had a lovely base-line temperament and once she warmed up she was eager to learn. Roxy picked up skills, steadiness, reliability and was able to be interrupted quickly when she engaged in shadow chasing. She developed a love for learning and working and she and her owner are on the same page now and living a big life full of new opportunities and freedoms! Way to go guys!

Meet Leia! Leia finished up her Stay & Train a few weeks ago and she has been doing amazingly since returning home! Leiaā€™s owner was putting in work before Leia arrived and it really showed. Leia was one of the more balanced puppies weā€™ve had come in for training. It was a huge benefit because her owners have aspirations that she might be a service dog in the future and it helped us to move her along quickly and work on more challenging skill and behavioral goals. Aside from a bit of a stubborn streak (hello Spitz breeds of all varieties šŸ˜‰) she enthusiastically jumped into whatever we asked! We think sheā€™s going to achieve great things and we are looking forward to seeing her soon to continue to advance her skills!

Meet Booker! This goofball finished up his Stay & Train a few weeks ago and weā€™ve been so pleased to receive multiple positive updates! Booker came in hyper-vigilant, apprehensive of people, reactive and just generally disruptive to his owners. Booker gained confidence, an ability to relax and showed us that underneath all of his nerves was a super fun and intelligent guy who learned that he loves people and play groups with other dogs!
