Often during an appointment someone tells me I have the worst job. “ I don’t envy you.” also “You must be a very strong person to be able to do this.”
I am a very strong person, but this is one of the best jobs in the world. I see the best of people. I witness the bond between them and their pets and the immeasurable love shared between them. I am able to make a very difficult day a little better for people and they acknowledge that.
Yesterday, a client paid me with this envelope and when I saw it after the appointment, I was so touched. I know how much my families are suffering, but they still consider me and appreciate me even through their tears.
Today a client gave me this prayer coin and called me an earth angel. I have to say that didn’t happen very often working in a regular Veterinary Clinic but it happens often now.
I want to thank all of my people. The love and appreciation you show me during our appointment, in text messages and sometimes photos, and in my Google and Facebook reviews lift my spirits and make me glad I do what I do.
