🇺🇸 **The Flag and the Horse** 🇺🇸
*For Flag Day*

Upon the breeze the flag flies high,
Beneath a vast and open sky,
Its stars aglow, its colors bright,
A beacon born of hope and light.

Below it stands a faithful horse,
A symbol of enduring force,
Its spirit wild, its heart still free,
As boundless as the prairie sea.

The stripes recall the paths once trod,
The dreams pursued, the ground we've ploughed,
The stars remind us all as one,
Of battles faced and victories won.

For horse and flag share something rare,
A strength that time cannot impair,
One runs the plains, one greets the sky,
Yet both inspire us to try.

So on this Flag Day, take a pause,
Reflect upon the nation's cause,
And celebrate the freedom won,
While horse and flag still stand as one.

May both endure for years untold,
Their stories passed from old to old,
