Yesterday we had the privilege of showcasing adoptable Kennedy and Petey at the Tito's Patio Pooch Party! If you haven't checked out The Gristmill-Please do! It is a wonderfully dog friendly establishment right in the heart of Port Clinton!
Tito's has always been a huge supporter of animals and they had a rep there to hand out swag! They made a generous donation to the shelter!
Curly & Spot, LLC was also there passing out lots of homemade dog treats and good vibes! Check them out at the link below or on Etsy!

You guys have done it again...BIG TIME!!! $10,003 was raised for all of the little toe beans at the shelter! 🐾🐾🐾
Our annual yard sale wrapped up today and we just can't thank everyone enough!
From everyone that saved up their goodies to donate to everyone that shopped and dropped some cash in our donation box, we are beyond grateful! We could not pull this event off without our wonderful volunteers, staff and board members that busted their butts to set up and man the event-you guys are just amazing every single day! And a HUGE thank you to Lakeside Yacht Services & Storage for allowing us to hold the sale at their site once again-It has been a game changer for this vital fundraiser!
One last bit of news...we will open the sale site (8147 E. Harbor Rd, Marblehead) tomorrow morning at 9am and everything is absolutely FREE!!! As we are packing things up, please come out and help yourself to any of the "leftovers!" We will only be there for 2-3 hours but come load up whatever your heart desires! if anyone wants to pitch in and help, we would be so very appreciative! Our core group could use a little extra help as this event winds down as some of us are utterly exhausted at this point! 🥵🫩🥱

Last day to shop in support of the shelter furbabies! We will be there tomorrow, 7/18 from 8am-3pm! So far, we have taken in almost $8900! With no cost to hold this event, every penny stays right where it's needed most-at the shelter! We are beyond grateful! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Last day to drop off donations for the annual yard sale! We will be at 8147 E. Harbor Rd. in Marblehead from 9am-Noon today (Thurs 7/16). Shopping begins at 8am Friday 7/17! Currently we have over 100 furbabies at the shelter and 100% of the money raised goes directly to their care! 🐶🐱🐶🐱

We had so much fun connecting with all of you this weekend! $7200 dollars was made & every single penny of that goes directly to caring for the animals at the shelter! What a great thing all of you helped us achieve! Thank you to everyone that donated and shopped-it takes a village and you all stepped up for the furbabies!
Another HUGE thank you to Lakeside Yacht Service & Storage for free use of their wonderful location!

The sale is open again this coming Friday and Saturday and we will be accepting donations at the sale site this Tues & Thurs from 9am-Noon! Please do NOT drop off at the shelter as we can not get items to Marblehead by next weekend. Also, items can not be left at the sale site outside of the hours we will be there on Tues & Thurs. This is a business location and needs to be able to function as such throughout the week! Thank you!
