Looking for a foster in Oregon for two alpacas that need to be placed.

Looking for someone who currently has alpacas and is willing to fill out a foster form.

Please contact Rondi at 360 689 2836. One of the alpacas may have leg issues. We will have to hopefully have someone look at them prior to transport.

Thank you Irene Estes for Sponsoring "China Princess" named after Wizard of Oz charactor.

In the book, she is proud and delicate and explains that china people can be fragile ornaments.

She came to us "Crippled", her back arched under her legs, back feet turning out, having some issue walking, but not enough, per our vet, to make a quality of life decision.

We were never told about her medical issues when they were surrendered. She was loaded in the trailer with a large group of girls and after we unloaded her we saw her.

Sponsoring medically needy animals at our rescue allows care for continued medical management.

Thank you Sandy Lawrence for sponsoring Cappy, the Elwa Bridge Escaping Llama, and "Kracken".

Cappy came from a horrible abandonment on Edgewood Drive over 10 years ago where a herd of llamas were left, two of which, mom and cria, were shot.

A Quilcene rescue came to load up the remaining llamas and Cappy couldn't be caught.

Sandy bought the property and inherited Cappy.

Several years ago, Cappy decided he wanted to go on a walk about and ended across the Elwa Bridge. Evading capture before, we knew he would be a tough catch...

Thank you Jennifer LaFoe for Sponsoring mother and daughter Lui-Ahn & Ayana allowing them to stay together.

Lui-Ahn has the "Crippling Disease Rickets" which severally affected her bone development. She didnt recieve vitamin D as a cria.

Ayana is adoptable and would've been seperated from her baby. Because Jennifer sponsored them both, they can stay together.

Now they roam the 21 acres together. Lui-ahn without specialty care, couldn't be adopted.
