⭐️ Please join us in giving a warm welcome to our newest Board & Train client at Unleashed Manners: Honey! ⭐️

True to her name, Honey is just about the sweetest girl you could ever meet — we haven’t found a single mean bone in this lovable pup’s body. 💛 🍯🐝

Honey is a goofy, affectionate 1-year-old yellow lab who has joined us for our Board & Train program to work on all things puppy! Her training goals include building confidence, improving leash manners, and learning to keep those adorable four paws on the ground when greeting new friends. 🐾

When she’s not busy training with Ryan, you can usually find Honey bopping around with our crew, making everyone laugh with her silly personality, or happily requesting belly rubs from anyone willing to give them. 🥰

We are so excited to help this sweet girl continue growing into the confident, well-mannered dog we know she can be — and we already know she’s going to steal a few hearts while she’s here. 🥹

It’s honestly crazy to think that two years ago, Ryan took a leap of faith to pursue his true passion: helping dogs and their humans build stronger, more respectful, and more joyful relationships through consistent, compassionate training.

Over these past two years, we have been incredibly blessed by the support of our amazing clients, followers, friends, and community. We truly could not have done this without YOU.

Every single dog that has come through our doors has brought their own unique personality, quirks, and challenges. While they may have learned new skills with us, they’ve also helped us grow, learn, and become better trainers and people along the way. This is our WHY.

Believe it or not, YOUR dogs teach us just as much as we teach them. They challenge us to keep learning, improving, and showing up better every single day.

A big misconception dog owners have is dogs need water while playing outside or immediately after.

❌ That couldn’t be farther from the truth. ❌

When dogs are overly excited (either from playing hard or over arousal) they tend to drink way too much and way too fast without knowing when to stop.

‼️This can increase the risk of water intoxication and even bloat in some dogs.‼️

Before offering a ton of water, focus on cooling them down first:
• Remove them from the activity/stressor
• Get them into shade or cool, moving air environment
• Let them calm down and catch their breath
• Then slowly introduce small amounts of cool (not ice cold) water
