THAT PESKY WIND! 💨 Would it surprise anyone that the Pacific Northwest weather had other plans for our booth today? The wind decided we needed a change of scenery, so we’ve RELOCATED!

You can now find us in front of the FEIRO MARINE LIFE CENTER. Stop by and say hi! We think we’re staying put. (Unless the weather has other ideas!) 🐾 🦀

KING 5: “Dogs in the bathrooms: Animal rescues overflow with nowhere left to turn.” https://tinyurl.com/y2phjst7

Rescues across Clallam County are at or beyond capacity, with no full-service animal shelter currently operating. Our community needs a reliable system for stray and lost animals, owner surrenders, protective-custody cases, and animals with nowhere else to go. Private rescues cannot replace a countywide sheltering system.

If you’d like to be part of the conversation and help find a solution, consider attending a Clallam County Animal Solutions Advisory Committee (ASAC) meeting.

ASAC advises the Clallam County Commissioners and Sheriff’s Office on animal-control issues and provides a public forum for sharing information, concerns, and possible solutions for animals in our community.

There are many ways you can help. Whether you attend a meeting, share information, volunteer, donate, or simply help keep the conversation going, your involvement matters. Our local rescues are incredibly grateful for the community’s continued support as we work to care for the animals who need us now. 💜
