Paradise Waits Mustang Sanctuary We are completely volunteer operated in a remote location on the Olympic Peninsula.

PWMS is dedicated to rescuing and providing long term care for at-risk senior and special needs BLM mustangs, native wild horses, and horses within our community.

THANK YOU❣️❣️To all of our monthly donors, monthly sponsors, I’ve said it before and from my whole big heart, I’ll say it again, you give our sanctuary life and security and we appreciate you beyond words.
We are always looking for monthly sponsors as we have quite a few herd members without.
We always prioritize our seniors for sponsorship as they have the most needs, higher cost of monthly care.
Willow is our only mare with no sponsors and she is such a deserving soul. Luna is looking for a hoofcare and supplement sponsor, and Tahoma is looking for the same.
The deer and elk have been really active lately, I’ve had to keep an eye on the fence line and with winter coming we change up some of the cross fencing.
We’re fundraising for our fall dental care, it’s a big bill, but one that keeps our herd healthy, comfortable and properly digesting their hay.
Fall is in the air! 🍁
Cool nights, brisk mornings, we’ve had rain, wind, humidity and some hot days, it’s got us in fall chord mode and hoping we get everything done before mud season, it o my takes one big storm! ⛈️
Well, this will have to be two or three parts, I’ve got to get on with my day, thank you again for bro g here and loving the herd!

Healthy teeth, healthy herd!
An important and necessary part of long term care is the commitment to basic care, quality hay and feed, clean water, hoofcare and dental care, and shelter and room to move.
Every six months our herd has their teeth checked, a few will need full floats and a few will just need a little touch up, this is a fairly substantial expense that we could use your help with. 🦷✨
