🚨 Poquoson Animal Welfare Sanctuary Needs Your Help 🚨
Please stay with us—I know this is a long post, but it’s one of the most important we’ve ever shared.
We don’t usually ask for desperate help… but today, we have to.
Every day, abandoned, neglected, and homeless cats come through our doors with nowhere else to go. For many of them, P.A.W.S. is their last chance—the first place they’ve ever known safety, warmth, a full belly, and unconditional love.
But today, it’s not just the cats that need saving.
The sanctuary that has saved thousands of lives needs help, too.
Built in 1947, our sanctuary has been a refuge for cats for generations. After nearly 80 years, time has taken its toll, and our building desperately needs repairs. To continue our mission, we must raise $12,000 for critical improvements, including:
🐾 New flooring
❄️ A new HVAC system
💡 Electrical upgrades
🏡 A new cat enclosure so our residents have a safe, enriching place to enjoy fresh air.
When you donate, you’re not just paying for flooring, wiring, or construction.
You’re helping keep frightened kittens warm on cold nights.
You’re giving senior cats a peaceful place to spend their golden years.
You’re making sure the next abandoned cat that arrives at our door has a safe place to land.
