🛑 Rabies Alert in Illinois – Protect Your Pets & Family 🐕🐈

A recent confirmed rabies case in a dog in Chicago has been reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health. Rabies is 100% fatal once symptoms appear, but it is 100% preventable with vaccination.

⚠️ Why this matters:
• Rabies can be transmitted to people and other pets
• Wildlife such as bats, raccoons, skunks, and foxes can expose pets without anyone realizing
• Even indoor pets are at risk
