We are now less than a day away from the next Scott Smith’s All Animal Expo and we’re looking forward to another great show at the Kane County Fairgrounds.

Be sure to check out the updated vendor list attached to this post. We have made a few additions since our original list was posted and there will be a great variety of animals, feeders, supplies, and knowledgeable vendors ready for the day.

Don’t forget, this is also our Mother’s Day Weekend Edition.

𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝘀 𝗚𝗲𝘁 $𝟯 𝗢𝗙𝗙 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗼𝗿

Whether you are searching for something specific or just looking for a fun and unique way to spend part of your Saturday with the family, there will be something for everyone.

Doors open at 10:00am at the Kane County Fairgrounds in St. Charles. Admission is $8 for ages 11 and up. Children 6 to 10 are $3 and children ages 5 and under are FREE.

We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow.

Hello Everyone!

Due to ongoing unfortunate circumstances, I have decided to implement adoption contracts for all guinea pig adoptions. This decision stems from multiple instances where guinea pigs from our program have ended up in other rescues or pet stores, as well as situations where guinea pigs that should not be bred have been.

The new adoption contracts will include a strict no-breeding policy (to pet quality homes) and a requirement that guinea pigs be returned to me if you decide not to keep them. These measures are being put in place immediately and will remain until further notice.

🎉BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT 🎉
Pilar (my TSW Skinny Pig) was bred to Dip (my soild black Skinny Pig) and gave birth to three stunning babies. No genders yet, inquires welcome.
I MAY possibly keep a female if there is one I like. This is depending on previous inquires I have had since mom is staying with me.
Momma Pilar is looking very thin. She will be getting supplemented to offset weight issues. The baby's look very healthy.

Meet Pumba! He is a 5 yr old black and white Abyssinian male. He does have some slight orange markings throughout his face! If you want to help out a SENIOR single male guinea pig then he is for you! Pumba was surrendered to my rescue. (mid-Oct 22)
Pumba is a 5yr old very outgoing piggy. He is a loud-wheeker and loves the company of humans. He previously lived in Wisconsin with his owner who became very overwhelmed with his college studies. She was in a pickle and made the difficult decision to seek a new home. She adopted him from a pet store when he was little and raised Pumbaa as a baby. Pumbaa was a nervous piggy but she said he has grown a lot since then. He tolerates cuddle time but is always up for nose and chin rubs.
I would suggest he has a more experienced Guinea Pig owner. I don't think he would be an ideal fit for small children. (with the exception of kids who have been around guinea pigs constantly and know how to handle them.) Pumba is looking for a retirement home where he can have his space to relax and chill. He is in great health and but he is a picky eater. His favorite part of the day is jumping into the fresh hay piles at night.
Pumba has a small adoption fee to assure a good home. The fee goes directly into my rescue program so you can help out more piggies get adopted and cared for! You are welcome to come to visit him at our location PRIOR to adoption! If you do not have a cage I can recommend you one. His current cage is too small for him.
