Our college girls are returning to college, so we now have openings for the following positions: Receptionist Kennel Staff , Vet Tech/Assistants and Receptionist.

Full time Receptionist/CSR
Hicks Animal Hospital has an opening with our front desk staff.
Front desk staff are the first face and communication out patients and owners encounter when calling or entering our facility.
Kindness is our policy, not an option. Our front desk staff answer phones, check clients in and out, receive payment for services, clean and fill exam rooms. Ability to type, scan, email and fax, make change and learn AVImark/Pulse , our software program, are a must as well as being quick and courteous, have friendly, informative, confident phone voice and of course MUST LOVE ANIMALS !
Prefer experience but will train the right person to work with our team . Must be 18 years or older.
Veterinary Assistants/Licensed Technicians :
Technicians are the heart of our clinic and assist the doctor in everything from monitoring surgery to gathering pet histories from the client to diagnostic testing. If you have a strong work ethic, and can work well with a team, and have past human or animal experience this might be the job for you. Ability to lift 50lbs, and work over 40 hours a must.
Kennel Technicians-
Kennel techs are the eyes and ears of the clinic. Kennel Techs are responsible for the care of all pets in the building. Duties include: monitoring all pets in our care, taking dogs out, cleaning cages, feeding and watering pets, laundry, grooming and bathing and and lots of cleaning within the kennel area and other duties as assigned. Kennel Techs work closely with the Veternary Techs and the Dr. to any issues or improvements happening with pets in our care.
Skills include general labor and ability to lift 50lbs with help, ability to hold animals animals correctly (will train) and understanding written and verbal instructions is very important.
MUST LOVE ANIMALS ! Prefer experience but will train the right person to work on our team . Must be 18 years or older. We are a full time, 7 days a week facility so schedule will vary and weekends and holidays are rotated within the team members.
