Enrichment activities significantly benefit and enhance a dog's life by stimulating their minds, encouraging problem solving, reducing stress, learning new skills, and so much more.

Enrichment can vary from simple play to extensive cognitive tasks. This pup is enjoying a toy filled with dog safe food options such as canned dog food, green beans, and carrots. It's been frozen to provide longer enjoyment and more complex problem solving, a great solution on a hot summer day!

There are so many unique and unconventional tools to use in service dog training. This stool is a great example! Establishing good positioning on the stool builds hind end awareness and a solid foundation for My Lap.

My Lap is a cue that requires the pup to place the front legs and torso on the lap of their handler for a determined length of time. This provides deep pressure therapy (DPT) to the handler and helps to calm and ground them in times of stress or overstimulation.
