Actual video of Vegas being the naughtiest c**t ever 😂 Seriously, this is as bad as it gets so far. Pray for us that his personality remains the same and doesn’t drastically change over the next year before he goes to the c**t starter. He’s truly the best boy 🥰 and Kahlua will always be my favorite mare ❤️

🇺🇸❤️ Happy 4th of July from all of us at Summit Ridge Performance Horses! ❤️🇺🇸

Today we’re celebrating the freedoms we’re blessed to enjoy, the sacrifices made by those who came before us, and the simple joys of country life.

From horses grazing in green pastures to little fillies discovering the world one adventure at a time, we’re thankful for this life and for each of you who chooses to follow along on our journey.

Whether you’re spending the day at a rodeo, with family around the grill, watching fireworks, or just enjoying a quiet evening at the barn, we hope your Independence Day is filled with laughter, good memories, and plenty of horse time.

Please remember to keep your horses safe tonight! Fireworks can be stressful, so be sure they’re in secure fencing, have plenty of fresh water, and check on them after the celebrations.

Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸🐴

I think I may have created a little content creator. 🥹❤️

Luna has watched me make videos for years, and she asks almost every day if she can make one herself. Yesterday, I finally handed her the camera and let her introduce her young chickens.

She planned what she wanted to say, filmed it, and was so excited to share it with everyone. I hope you’ll take a couple of minutes to watch and leave her an encouraging comment. It would absolutely make her day.

I have a feeling this won’t be her last video. 🐥💕

Same mama…two completely different babies. ❤️🐴

One of my favorite parts about raising foals is watching their personalities and conformation develop. It’s amazing how two foals out of the same mare can share certain qualities, yet grow into completely different individuals.

Vegas is out of Turnpikers Wagon, and Gigi is out of Slick By Design.

The more I watch them, the more I appreciate what each cross has produced.

Both have inherited Gypsy’s athleticism, balance, and strong build. She consistently passes on good bone, a nice hip, and an overall athletic frame that gives both foals a great foundation.

Where they really start to differ is fascinating.

Vegas has developed into a bigger, more substantial c**t. He has more bone, more depth through his body, and a stronger, more masculine look. He looks like the kind of horse that’s going to keep growing and filling out into a powerful athlete.

Gigi, even at just six weeks old, has a much more refined and feminine look. She has a pretty head, a nice shoulder, a beautiful hip, and long, elegant lines. She already has that athletic, performance-horse appearance that naturally catches your eye.

One thing that has surprised me is their personalities.

Gypsy isn’t the horse that’s going to meet you at the gate looking for attention. She’s confident, independent, and more reserved.

Yet both Vegas and Gigi absolutely love people. They’re curious, confident, and always the first to come see what we’re doing. It’ll be interesting to watch them grow and see if they stay that way as adults.

As a breeder, I love seeing how two different stallions can complement the same mare in completely different ways. I don’t think one cross is better than the other—they’re simply producing different types of horses, and I can appreciate both for what they are.

Every foal teaches me a little more about Gypsy as a producer, and that’s one of the things I enjoy most about this journey.

So now I want to know…which cross are you drawn to so far?

🐴 Gypsy × Turnpikers Wagon (Vegas)

or

🐴 Gypsy × Slick By Design (Gigi)

I’d love to hear what you’re seeing!

Things that most of us only dream of, what an amazing team, what an iconic stallion 🥰

Just another peaceful day with Gypsy and Gigi. 🤎

Watching this little filly grow has been one of the biggest joys of this year. Every day she gets a little braver, a little more independent, and somehow even more curious.

I’m trying to soak up every one of these moments because these baby days don’t last long.

Which photo is your favorite?

🐴 JoJo’s Journey 💙

Another exhibition in the books for JoJo!

I honestly couldn’t be happier with how this young mare is coming along. Every time Kassady takes her out, she seems to gain a little more confidence and another piece of the puzzle falls into place.

I know there’s still a lot for her to learn, and we’re definitely not in a hurry. I’d much rather take our time and let her develop the right way than rush the process.

Watching these little improvements from one exhibition to the next is so rewarding, and it makes me even more excited about her future.

A huge thank you to Kassady for all the time, patience, and work she’s putting into JoJo. I truly couldn’t ask for a better person to help bring out the best in her.

I’m so excited to see where this journey takes us. ❤️

I swear these two spend half their day playing and the other half arguing about who is in charge. 😂🐐

Thankfully nobody ever gets hurt and five minutes later they’re best friends again.

Show me pics of your Nigerians in the comments! I would love to see them!

Four years ago I bought Dream because I believed she could be a barrel horse.

There have been plenty of ups and downs along the way, and more than a few times when I wondered if we’d ever get where we wanted to be. Through it all, this mare has continued to teach me patience, perseverance, and the importance of believing in the process.

Friday night in Stillwater, Dream gave us another glimpse of what she might become. We’re still a long way from the finish line, but seeing her confidence grow and watching things start to come together makes all the hard days worth it.

A huge thank you to Kassady at KW Equine for believing in her and helping her find her way. ❤️🐴
