We’re at Tractor Supply for just 2 more hours with four amazing dogs looking for their forever homes!

Three of these sweet pups have been waiting over 100 days for a family, which means their adoption fees are just $25. They are loving, deserving, and more than ready to leave shelter life behind.

If you’re out running errands, stop by and meet them before 3:00 PM. You can also help local pets in need by picking up an extra bag of dog or cat food and dropping it off for our Pet Food Pantry while you’re there.

Come see us, meet some incredible dogs, and help make a difference for pets in our community! ❤️🐾

🎉ADOPTION CELEBRATION🎉

Big news around here: Cookie is officially out of the shelter, and Jasmine and Frappuccino also found a home together.

All three of these fur babies are now living the good life with families of their own to spoil them, couches to sleep on, and belly scratches galore.

Thank you to everyone who shared their posts, supported the shelter, donated, volunteered, and helped get more eyes on these animals. And a special thank you to the adopters for opening their hearts and homes. Happy tails to all!

Cedar can handle a walk around the rodeo grounds just fine…until something unexpected happens and she suddenly remembers she’s still basically a baby trying to figure the world out.

At 7 months old, she’s in that in-between stage where confidence and uncertainty seem to take turns running the show. She’s playful, social, enjoys getting out for walks, and has a goofy young-dog energy once she settles in.

She’s also been at the shelter since February, which means a lot of her growing up has happened here instead of in a home. Cedar would do best with someone patient enough to let her build confidence at her own pace while she keeps learning how the world works.

She’s at that age where confidence comes in bursts and common sense is still very much a work in progress.

Every single bag of food, roll of paper towels, bottle of bleach, and can of kitten food makes a difference around here. Shelter work isn’t just about adoptions…it’s also mountains of laundry, endless dishes, cleaning kennels, feeding hungry mouths, and trying to stay stocked up while caring for a whole lot of animals every day.

If you’ve ever wondered how to help but can’t adopt or foster right now, our wishlist is one of the easiest ways to directly support the animals in our care. We are always in need of supplies, and donations are appreciated more than you know.

💙 Cher has some good news. 💙

Because of your generosity, we officially hit the fundraising goal for Cher’s dental procedure.

That means this sweet girl will finally get the full mouth extraction she needs to relieve the chronic pain she’s been living with and give her the chance to feel comfortable again.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, shared her fundraiser, checked in on her, or simply helped spread the word. It truly made a difference for Cher.

Now we get to focus on the best part: helping her heal, feel better, and hopefully find the home she deserves next.

Hey. Yeah, you. The one scrolling.

I’m Woody. I’m about 9 months old, orange, handsome, litter box trained, and apparently very good at making biscuits. At first I played it cool and acted shy, but lately I’ve been reconsidering that strategy because honestly? Being somebody’s cat sounds better than sitting in a kennel.

I’ve got a pretty easygoing personality once I settle in, and I think I’d look excellent stretched across your couch judging your television choices. We both know you want to meet me.

Calling all golfers, businesses, and people who just like helping shelter animals without actually swinging a golf club. ⛳🐾

We’re incredibly grateful to First National Bank of Oklahoma for choosing Northern Oklahoma Humane Society as this year’s beneficiary for their annual golf tournament. Community partnerships like this truly make a difference for the animals in our care.

Bella hears the word “walk” and immediately acts like she’s late for NASCAR qualifying.

She’s still the affectionate, people-loving girl who wants to be included in whatever you’re doing, but she’s also making real progress. Her leash manners are improving, she’s doing better with four-on-the-floor, and she’s been staying calm around other dogs while out walking.

Give her a yard, a routine, and someone willing to keep working with her, and she’s going to settle in nicely. After being here since January, we’d really love to see Bella spending summer stretched out on somebody’s couch instead of waiting for her turn back in the kennel.
