Choosing a dog trainer can be difficult. This will help!

Learn what you should ask a potential dog trainer – and what they should answer – before hiring them to work with you and your dog.

Every day in my job as an animal trainer and behavior consultant, I try to shift peoples’ perspectives on how dogs actually learn. Dogs don’t have morals. They do what comes naturally to them and, when we take them into our homes, we need to teach them how to live in a human household. We do that by making the behaviors we want them to perform rewarding. We show them what TO do.

I stand with Dr. Lisa Radosta and so many of my amazing colleagues who put science and welfare above outdated practices of punishment.

Please sign a petition to help stop the sale of rabbits at Petland. Rabbits are inexpensive impulse buys who end up dumped outside, taken to a shelter, or put on wait lists of rabbit rescues (who are inundated with surrender calls every single day). And just like with the dogs sold at Petland, their rabbits come from mills that churn out babies at the lowest cost to the company and to the detriment of the animals involved. Thanks for your support!
