🚨 IMPORTANT MEDICATION RECALL ALERT – WEDGEWOOD PHARMACY🚨
🐾 Rockland Veterinary wants to keep our patients and their families informed!
Wedgewood Pharmacy has announced a voluntary recall of certain medications due to inconsistencies identified in analytical testing data. According to Wedgewood, there has been no reported increase in complaints or adverse events associated with the affected products.
💊 Medications that may have been dispensed by our hospitals and could be affected include:
- Metronidazole 50 mg tablets
- Metronidazole liquid
- Gabapentin 50 mg tablets
If your pet received any of these medications from one of our hospitals since February 2026, please contact us so we can determine whether your pet's medication is affected by the recall.

✅ If you purchased medication directly from Wedgewood Pharmacy: Please use Wedgewood's official recall lookup to determine if your pet's medication is affected.
