It has been busy here on the farm and we love every moment of it! Rosie's litter is 4 weeks old starting to growl a little and so curious as they move around on wobbly legs. 🥰

Holly blessed us with 4 babies that are a week old. At this point and time we do not handle them much due to the Momas very protective tendencies and I can respect that. But I would like to give you a sneak peak!
* Note: the dapple is on reserve*

Ever wondered which Dachshund color is the most common? 🐾

According to the DachsLife 2021 Health Survey, which included color data from 9,807 Dachshunds, Black & Tan was the most commonly reported color at 33.8%, followed by Red/Shaded Red.

Of course, this represents the dogs included in the survey, not the entire worldwide Dachshund population, but it’s still such an interesting look at how their colors are distributed!
