“Cali” is an extremely kind & intelligent mare, I genuinely can not say enough good things about this mare. She is level headed beyond measure & is simple enough to be brought along by an ammy or a teen in a program. She loves to be doted on & will stand in the crossties all day to be groomed on. She’s kind enough for my 5yo daughter to handle as well.
She has been off for a year due to a few reasons. Her feet were a mess when she came here, then we dealt with ulcers & then my schedule as a mom & working full time took over. Life has recently slown down & Cali is coming back into work. I wanted to do the hunters with her, but I have recently fallen in love with dancing in the sand box so I would like to move her to someone who will have fun with her.
She is greener over fences, but she does have a lead change. She is extremely simple! Horses running in the field trying to race her next to the arena- no drama. Goats in the middle of the trot poles- keeps going w no drama. She has never placed a foot wrong the handful of times I’ve popped on her in the past year. She definitely could be a “once a week” horse.
Cali is currently sound barefoot, UTD on dental, shots, worming, etc. She currently also requires no maintenance.
In the spirit of trying to let her find her new home before I dump time into getting her fully going again, I’m offering her at a reduced price in the low/mid 4’s for an uncomplicated sale.
