Our time with Shrek has come to a close for another season and he is safely back in Yosemite.

We will miss his brays, the looks of disdain he gives us as we try and learn new things, working on giving him ear scritches, and we will not miss coming in each morning to see what he might have broken.

Shrek has been such a great mule for the rangers to use bc he is so steadfast and also so short! If you are in Yosemite this summer, be sure and keep an eye out for Shrek going up and down the JMT!
