💔 Rest peacefully, sweet Vinny. 🐾🌈

Tonight my heart is absolutely shattered.

I received the heartbreaking news that sweet Vinny passed away at 9:51 tonight, and I honestly don’t have the words to describe how sad I am.

Being a dog groomer means so much more than giving baths and haircuts. Over the years, you build relationships with these beautiful souls. You learn their personalities, their little quirks, what makes them comfortable, what makes them nervous, and exactly how they like to be loved. And somewhere along the way, they stop feeling like “clients” and start feeling like family.

Vinny was one of those very special dogs for me. ❤️

Knowing this photo was taken of me grooming Vinny today makes it even harder. Seeing his sweet face and knowing that just hours later he would be gone is heartbreaking. He even gave me so many kisses after I was finished….(he is not a big kisser, but today was different)

I feel incredibly grateful that I was trusted to care for Vinny and that I had the privilege of being a small part of his life. Every dog who comes into my care leaves a little piece of themselves with me, and Vinny has certainly left his.

To Vinny’s family, thank you for trusting me with your beautiful boy and allowing me to love him too. My heart is with you tonight as you navigate a loss that words simply cannot make easier.

Vinny, you were loved more than you could ever know.
Run free, sweet boy. No pain, no fear—just endless treats, sunshine and fields to run through. 🌈🐾

You will always have a special place in my heart, and you will never be forgotten.

I’m Super Happy and Very Excited that we are only 11 days away from SHAVE’S Story Time series with Erica. This months book will be “Harry by the Sea”

Sometimes I stop and think about how incredibly lucky I am.

Not because I own a business…
But because every single appointment represents something much bigger than a groom.

It represents trust.

You trust me with the pets who greet you at the door, comfort you after a long day, make you laugh, and love you unconditionally.

That trust is something I’ll never take for granted.

SHAVE was built on the belief that every dog deserves patience, kindness, individualized care, and to be treated like family—not just another appointment on the schedule.

Every wagging tail, every happy reunion, every smile from a client reminds me why I took the leap to build this dream.
