🚨 Never Leave Pets in a Parked Vehicle 🚨

We've seen a significant increase in calls involving animals left inside parked vehicles. With temperatures climbing this week, we want to remind everyone: Never leave your pet alone in a vehicle, even for a few minutes.

It may seem harmless to bring your pet along for the ride, but if you're planning to run into a store, the safest place for them is at home.

🌡️ A vehicle's interior can heat up about 40 degrees in just one hour, with 80% of that temperature increase happening within the first 30 minutes. Even on a mild day, the inside of a vehicle can quickly become dangerously hot.

❌ Cracking the windows does not significantly slow the heating process or make the vehicle safe.

A quick errand can turn into a life-threatening situation in minutes. Please help us protect the most vulnerable members of our community by leaving pets at home when possible and never leaving children or animals unattended in a parked vehicle.

If you see an animal in distress inside a parked vehicle, call 911 immediately.
