We often get asked what we start our puppies on and what we feed them, and nutrition is something we take very seriously here at Eastern Okie Puppies.
The weaning stage and those first few months of life are such an important time for a puppy. They’re growing rapidly, developing strong bones and muscles, building their immune system, and learning to thrive on solid food. We want to give our puppies the best possible start from the very beginning.
For our Poodles, we choose Royal Canin Puppy because we’ve found it works exceptionally well for our puppies. It provides balanced nutrition specifically formulated for growing puppies, while also being easy for our little ones to transition onto during weaning.
We start introducing food gradually and make sure our puppies are eating well and thriving before they leave our care. We also provide Royal Canin starter food as part of their transition to their new homes, so families can continue the same nutrition they are already accustomed to.
