Spring has sprung! There is no shortage of hairy pups! This groomer sure appreciates that the pups we do are all on regular schedules! And, these pups appreciate it even more, as their grooming takes less time, and is less traumatic when they don't have matted fur and overgrown toesies!
Did you know: we schedule our pups for the whole year! The maximum we go is 8 weeks between visits, and that's when they are taken very short at the every 8 week mark. The more hair on the pup, the more often the visits for maintenence.
We love this scheduling, because it means that our clients aren't scrambling to find a groomer with openings when their pup needs in NOW.
It means that a bond can form between the groomer and your pup, because routine and no drama sets up successful and pleasant grooming sessions.
It means that the groomer isn't super stressed and trying to find a rhythm with new dogs constantly. It allows similar sized and behavior dogs to be scheduled on the same days. Meaning, the dogs you see in the salon when you bring your dog in, are the same dogs you'll see the next groom, and the next, and the next.
And, we are all quite loving the way things are going. We can pamper your pets, and that's all I ever wanted to do when I grew up. Love the dogs, make them feel and look their very best, spoil them like an Auntie would, and send them home ❤️
