Five Rivers Animal Aid is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit group. Our organization is dedicated to offering a low cost spay/neuter assistance program, a pet food assistance program for those in need and helping dogs in need. These programs are available in Randolph and Lawrence Counties, Arkansas only.

THE RESCUE HELPING US TAKE THESE 13 CATS OUT OF ANIMAL CONTROL IS ALL READY FOR THEM! ❤️

They will have their own little spots for the first two sets of vaccines and then they go from there!

THANKFUL FOR THEIR VOLUNTEER TRANSPORTER COMING 3 HOURS OR SO TO PICK UP THE 13 CATS FRIDAY FROM City of Pocahontas Animal Control !

🚨SEEKING RESCUE TAG/TRANSFER! Friendly mama dumped in a wind and rain storm a few days ago with 8 little puppies in Randolph County Arkansas.

We don't have a space for them so they are with someone who found the mom and two puppies in a kennel outdoors. They are not in our custody but we want to help find them a rescue so they can be fully vetted and have screened responsible, loving, lifelong homes.

👊We can facilitate 💯whatever is needed and have already provided donated vaccines, dewormer and food to help them take care of this family until something can be found. Thanks Rene' Metty King for gathering our supplies and Chuck and Pam Ludwig for administering vaccines and dewormer.

Adoptions are fairly rare and saturation is heavy here so finding good loving homes and getting that many adopted is impossible (particularly with so many needing help in the area) for us being so small and rural.

We WILL help also with typically some of the transport via volunteers and donations and get a health certificate... Please SHARE. THANKS.

4 family dogs that are social and friendly were relinquished! And there are MANY other friendly, smart, beautiful, and healthy dogs there. NEEDING A SAVIOR!

When they fill up completely we know what happens.

MULTIPLE ARE ALREADY SPAYED/NEUTERED!

Please go down to the City of Pocahontas Animal Control if you can adopt a dog ASAP! Even if you can adopt a dog and find it a devoted family!

🐾 PLEASE ADOPT THESE DOGS/CATS! 🐾

These sweet dogs and cats are desperately in need of loving homes. Their owners recently moved here from Michigan and were cited for having too many animals, resulting in these 4 dogs and multiple cats having to be surrendered.

The two that are in the cage together are male and female: “The tuxedo is Rosie she is a cuddler and doesn't understand personal space. Jax is a couch tater, that basically just likes to sleep mostly, although he will pause a nap for loving”

“The wiry one is Zeus a 14 year old senior who still has plenty of energy.”

“The black lab (female) is Jersey aka wiggles. She loves her butt scratches. No know medical conditions on any of them.”

The cats up for adoption: all are spayed and neutered we would like to get them a new home and there’s no charge for them you would just be required to get a rabies vaccination for them.

They deserve a second chance, a safe place to call home, and a family who will love them. ❤️

👋👋👋BOSTON TERRIER, FEMALE SEEKING A LOVING DEVOTED ADOPTER FROM ANIMAL CONTROL OR A RESCUE TAG IF THIS DOG'S NOT ADOPTED QUICKLY!

I was working on helping this lady with this Boston terrier and she said she'd hold her till monday. I checked in today and she dropped her off at Pocahontas Animal Control sadly despite a few people being interested and getting a few messages from rescues.

They also got 4 other new dogs at least recently from a household that were family pets including the little wiry 14 yr old dog. Totally heartbreaking.

🫴I was told the lady who dropped her off acquired her a little over a week ago from a older lady who had to raise her grandbaby and couldn't do both. The lady who took the Boston terrier said her boxer didn't really appreciate another dog in the house therefore they had issues she couldn't deal with.

So this is the second person she's had to leave in just the last 2 weeks and now is at a facility which is scary and overwhelming to all dogs...

If she's not adopted soon we will do our best to facilitate rescue if she gets tagged by a group.
