There’s just something special about getting the whole team together—on horseback, out on the trail, and simply enjoying being together. 🐴🤍

This morning 17 members of our team came together for a beautiful group trail ride at Lake Comanche, enjoying time in the saddle, the scenery, and most importantly, each other.

There’s something pretty special about getting a group of people and horses together and simply enjoying the ride. 🌿🐎

We are so grateful for this team and the friendships and moments we continue to create together. Thank you to Torri for organizing such a fun day and bringing us all together!

Some horses leave hoofprints on your heart. Then there are the ones that become a part of who you are. ❤️

𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁 — “𝗖𝗼𝗱𝘆” — 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲.

With nearly $𝟯𝟴,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗶𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀, she has accomplished so much, but honestly, the numbers are only a small part of what makes this mare so special to me. What means the most is knowing how much she still loves her job. Every time we walk into the show pen, she gives me everything she has, and I never take that for granted.

Cody has taught me patience, trust, confidence, and probably more about myself than she will ever know. There have been good rides, hard rides, unforgettable moments, and plenty of lessons along the way. Through all of it, she has always been Cody — and I wouldn't trade that for anything.

She feels like home.

I'm so grateful for every ride, every show, every win, every lesson, and every memory we've made together. And the best part is knowing 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗲𝘁.

We're proud of our Open Futurity horses making their first trips down the pen. Every futurity horse starts somewhere, and this show gave us valuable experience and a clear roadmap for what's next. Before we wrap up an incredible week at the Star Spangled Slide, we have to give a huge birthday shoutout to our amazing Assistant Trainer, Meleah! 🎉❤️

The Equine Empire program simply wouldn't be the same without her. From the early mornings to the late nights, she's always there for our horses, our clients, and our team. We're so grateful we got to celebrate her special day doing what we all love together!

Tomorrow is the final day in Reno, and we're looking forward to ending the week with more great rides. 🇺🇸

Then it's time for the NRHA Open Derby, where Torri Sims will have two to show, followed by Bayley and "Sam" in the Youth class.

We're grateful for another day spent doing what we love—showing great horses, teaching amazing riders, and cheering on our friends. Good luck to everyone showing! 💙

Wearing the very saddle pad her mother won Reining by the Bay in back in 2020… ❤️

Some moments are just meant to be.

Two years ago, with the help of Bluebird Equine, Torri brought GUNNAWANNABEME "Rosie" home from Booth Ranch and began the journey of developing her into the special mare we all believe she can be. Today, Rosie stepped into the show pen carrying not only her own potential, but the legacy of her incredible dam, Codalicious.
From winning the Level 1 Derby aboard a red mare to now showing that mare's red daughter in her own program, Torri has quietly built something truly special.

Congratulations Torri, on your Top 10 finish today! We couldn't be more proud of you and Rosie. This is only the beginning, and we can't wait to watch the incredible things you'll accomplish together. ❤️

Today marks the big debut for our talented 3-year-olds in the NRHA Open Futurity with Torri Sims. Many months of preparation have led to this moment, and we can't wait to watch these young horses step into the show pen for the very first time.
