Spaying or Neutering your pets has so many benefits. Here are just a few!

❤️Health Benefits - Prevents diseases
🎀Spaying females stops deadly uterine infections like pyometra and lowers breast cancer risks.
🔵Neutering males completely stops testicular cancer and lowers prostate issues.

🐶Longer life -
Studies show altered pets live longer because they face fewer health and injury risks.

🩺Behavior Benefits -
💨Less roaming: Pets lose the intense urge to escape and wander off looking for a mate.
🐈Cleaner habits: Neutering stops or lowers urine spraying and marking in cats and dogs.
🧘‍♀️Calmer mood: Animals show less aggressive behavior and hormonal mood swings.

🏘️Community Impact -
Reduces shelter crowding: Prevents unwanted litters so fewer stray animals end up homeless.

Michigan is a hotspot for Leptospirosis and if you’ve never had a pet contract it, trust us, you don’t want to.
This disease moves fast. Dogs can seem perfectly fine one day and be critically ill the next. Life-saving hospitalization is often the only chance for survival and even then, many survivors are left with permanent kidney or liver damage.

The good news? It’s preventable🙌💉
🍄Vaccinated dogs are 20x LESS likely to get sick
🪻The Lepto vaccine requires an annual booster
🌼One shot could save your dog’s life
‼️Don’t skip your Lepto booster this year ‼️
