We are excited to introduce the newest member of our team - Maggie Nawa! Maggie is a veterinary technician and will be responsible for a variety of tasks inside the clinic and assisting on farms.

Maggie’s love of animals has been apparent since childhood. Growing up in northern Illinois (Go Bears!) she was constantly looking for opportunities to save wayward strays and interact with large animals. Maggie has been an avid horseback rider since she was 7 years old.

Maggie earned her Bachelors degree in Agriculture at Murray State University in 2016. Since then she has followed her passion for both large and small animal care across the country; supporting her patients in performance at major race tracks to everyday companionship. She enjoys learning and expanding her skills from general health to assisting during more complex surgical procedures.

Maggie is incredibly excited to join us and begin her career in the dairy industry. She is looking forward to supporting the farms and animals in our community as she continues pursuing new learning opportunities.

Outside of work, Maggie can be found watching sports with her dog Bennett, enjoying history and true crime documentaries, and crafting. She enjoys spending time with her family and is looking forward to making new friends in our community.

Dairy Doctors is excited to announce our team is growing with the addition of Dr. Morgan Anderson, DVM.

Morgan is a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. She grew up on her family’s farm in Ithaca, Wisconsin, where she developed a passion for animal agriculture through raising and showing beef cattle.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University before returning to Wisconsin for veterinary school. During her undergraduate years, she worked as a veterinary assistant and a breeding and genetics lab assistant. While in veterinary school, she grew her interest in cattle reproduction as an A.I. technician.

Morgan is excited to begin her career in general dairy practice, with particular interests in advanced reproductive technologies, preventative herd health, and surgical techniques. She is committed to continued learning and is eager to support the farmers and animals in the community.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Morgan enjoys hiking, fishing, and land management projects. She also values traveling and spending quality time with friends and family. She now lives in Fond du Lac with her boyfriend, Mark and her two cats Noodle and Clyde.

Over the last year, confirmed Bird Flu cases in dairy cattle span 17 states. Wisconsin has yet to be touched.
The risk of it spreading to farms like fourth-generation Vandoske Dairy Farm is scary.
