🐾 This National Veterinary Technician Week, we’re spreading the appreciation across our entire team with Staff Appreciation Week! 💙

From our veterinary technicians and assistants to our client service representatives, every team member helps make our clinic a place where pets, and their people, feel cared for.

It’s the reassurance during an exam, the cozy blanket while a pet recovers, the extra snuggles between treatments, and the time spent answering a worried pet parent’s questions. Behind the scenes and at the front desk, those little moments of love make a big difference.

Meet Cletus! A quirky, chatty little guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart.

Cletus may have started out shy and quiet, but these days he’s found his voice, and he uses it. Instead of a typical meow, he has the cutest little trill that he’ll happily share when he’s hungry, feeling social, or just has something important to say (which is often).

He’s a devoted companion who loves being near his person. Cletus will lean against your legs, follow you from room to room, and make sure you’re never alone, especially around mealtime, which he takes very seriously. During the day, he’s more of a professional napper, but come evening, he’s ready to be up, active, and keeping you company. Cletus does okay with friendly female cats.

Watch out, here comes a tail! Barney is a big goofy pup whose favorite things are people, being outside, and playing chase with other dogs. Barney has been working hard on learning his basic manners, housetraining and walking nicely on a leash. He is improving lots and is very eager to please! Being born outside and having a less than ideal start to life, he's had to adapt to some new things and has done amazing. He is tolerating the crate as his foster helps him understand that it's a safe place and not a punishment. Barney isn't shy to let you know precisely how he feels about being separated from the fun. Barney would do great in most any home, but may do better with kids that are older so he doesn't knock them down in his excitement. Barney has not yet met cats, but he is playful and excited when meeting other dogs. In fact, he would benefit from another dog to show him how to grow into his confidence and become his best self. Barney has a zest for life and is ready to share it!

Culligan, aka Culli, is a 3½-year-old “puppy” trapped in an adult dog’s body, and he’s having a fabulous time making up for lost puppyhood! This handsome guy is playful, affectionate, eager to please, and absolutely convinced that being near his people is where all the good stuff happens.

Today's adoption spotlight is Briar from Ruff Start Rescue!

Hi, I’m Briar! I’m a sweet, shy young girl with a heart full of love just waiting to bloom. My favorite thing in the world is being petted, I could happily soak up attention all day long! I do take a little time to warm up, though, and I appreciate reassurance that you really do like me. I’m still learning that people can be kind and safe, and every day I’m becoming a little braver.
