Welcome to the season of autumn harvest celebrations and the spooky, dry weather, and the end of Daylight Savings Time (2am on 11/1). This is also time for Rosh Hashannah (Jewish new year), All Saints Day, Samhain/Halloween, Día de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead): Mexican remembrance days featuring marigolds, sugar skulls, and family ofrendas (altars), the Mid-Autumn Festival / Moon Festival: Celebrated in China and Vietnam with mooncakes, lanterns, and family gatherings. Chuseok: a major Korean harvest festival featuring ancestral rituals and traditional foods like songpyeon. Diwali: The Hindu Festival of Lights spanning five days with oil lamps (diyas), fireworks, and sweets.

We are excited to have Aaron and Claudia as our featured speakers (see below and attached). As ever, some of us will be at the senior center early by 12:30pm on Sunday 11/1 to set up. Early arrival gives us time to socialize and start the program at 1pm.

Activities will include a bake sale and raffle plus a short Day of the Dead ceremony to honor our ancestors and loved ones who have journeyed on. If there are zoom participants who want a relative remembered, we could write it down or they can do their own ceremony in conjunction with ours.

Energy Patterns
The French Scientific Radiesthesists in the Twentieth Century were investigating the energy frequencies emitted by shapes. They are famous for their Energy Pendulums. These French and Belgian physicists and engineers also created a vast array of Energy Patterns for Clearing, Protection and Transformation. . Sandy will introduce the most useful of these Energy Patterns that she has been collecting and using for the past 25 years.

Due to the ASD convention, our local meeting has been pushed back a week to June 14.
We are delighted to bring back Andrea Crainich with her unique healing modality and extensive holistic expertise. This is an experience not to be missed. Please RSVP so we can set up for enough people. Zoom will be available and the recordings are now much better. Again, RSVP for the link.

We are doing a bake sale and raffle at this meeting, as we won’t have an in-house meeting again until September. July will be our picnic at Joann and Rick’s place, and August will be a field trip to be announced soon. Regular meetings will resume in September the week after Labor Day.
