We are currently running a fundraiser for a chance to win a set of weave poles!

- Cost: $10 per square (100 squares total)
- How to enter: Write your name and phone number in each square you purchase. The board is located on the table by the kitchen in the Splash n Dash building. Please place your payment in the envelope on the table next to the board.
- Drawing: The drawing will be held at the October CPE trial at BND (10/10 and 10/11).

BUILDING ANNOUNCEMENT [URGENT]

Thanks to our late night volunteers (Lexy Dallo, Ahlad Neti, and Ally Michalowski) for staying after class until midnight to empty the loft in preparation for installing the new rubber flooring this weekend! In the meanwhile if you are using the building for class or rentals, understand that there is additional equipment stored against the walls that will remain until the new flooring is installed this weekend. We ask that you are careful with this equipment and find ways to work around it for this brief period of time. Additionally please stay out of the loft until the flooring is installed unless you are actively volunteering for the flooring install project.

UPDATE: Volunteer found for sweeping and mopping the loft! We wouldn’t be able to do any of what we do without our volunteers, so thank you!

ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
We could still use some help with installing the flooring this weekend, and there may be need for additional volunteers to unroll the flooring rolls thursday or friday. If you are a club member, please check your recent email for contact info to reach out to our floor install leader Jody to coordinate. If you’re not a current member but would like to volunteer, email [email protected] to get connected with the project.

Emergency Crate Tags Fundraiser

- Time: 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM (15-minute time slots)
- Cost: $18 for members / $20 for non-members

Multiple 15-minute time slots are available between 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM, with a limit of 3 dogs per slot. If your preferred time is full, please choose another available slot. We kindly ask that you crate your dogs while waiting for your tags to be printed.

When you arrive for your time slot, we will take a photo of your dog and print it on sturdy cardstock along with your dog’s emergency information. The card will then be placed in a plastic holder to hang on or near your crate. This is a great opportunity to have emergency crate tags made for your dogs while you attend the seminars at the Splash ‘n Dash building.

This weekend, Splash ‘n Dash hosted a CPE agility trial at B&D Creekside Activity Center. There were 23 classes (courses) with 727 entries across Saturday and Sunday. Thank you to our judge, Lisa Triggs, and to all who made it a fun, safe, and successful event!

A dog training club promoting all aspects of canine sports

This weekend several Splash N Dash members and instructors participated in the B & D Creekside Activity Center hosted UKI International Challenge Event (ICE). This competition brings tough agility courses from top designers in Europe who design for some of the biggest events. Our club had quite a showing with four podium placements including three first placements! In addition to byes to the 2nd rounds of the US and Canadian Opens, winning the ICE Rookie level lets a dog automatically move up from beginner/novice to champ (the top UKI level) while winning ICE international gives the handler and dog an automatic invite to the UKI Invitational!
