Hello All,
This post is to let you know that the founder of Starliterags Ann Lang unexpectedly passed away. We will no longer be breeding Ragdoll cats. We will be working to find homes for adult cats through the coming weeks. We will not be doing deliveries of cats. We will not be doing cattery tours before you pick out your cat.
I am Ann's daughter Jackie. My mother's death was unexpected and we only had weeks to say goodbye. I have done my best to close out her remaining deposits in a professional and respectful way. I do not have the ages and names for most of her adult females. Mom knew each cat by heart and could tell them all apart at a glance. I unfortunately cannot.
Please be respectful as we navigate the next steps. We plan to post pictures of a select few cats at a time and give you what we know of thier personalities. Rehoming fees will vary based on the cat and thier personal circumstances.
I will not answer emails or messages until I have an active post made on this page with some available adults. I cannot meet you anywhere, or ship out a cat to you. These are things my mother knew everything about, but I know nothing about. I will not have individual papers or vet records. All of the cats are up to date on recommended shots for thier ages, but I do not have the dates of those visits.
My mom poured her heart and soul into these cats and I would love nothing more than to close out her legacy gracefully. Remember please, that I am one daughter who lost her mother way before her time. I am grieving and I will be doing the best I can to make my mother proud in the closing of her beloved StarliteRags (that I helped name when I was 12, I am now 45).
