The Hawk family had a big day at the Madison county fair. Ira did a great job on the stick driving his gilt to reserve champion middleweight commercial. Lincoln stepped up big, earning champion Hampshire barrow (bred by Eric Fee, sold at our spring sale). Little sister, Presley wasn’t to be out done though as she was 3rd overall in Junior Showmanship in her first year in the ring. Great job!

Great day at the Marion County fair from all the Busick Show Pig exhibitors! Creyton Jones drove the champion lightweight and 4th overall breeding gilt, the champion middleweight market barrow, champion Tamworth and reserve overall purebred gilt as well as taking home a champion senior showmanship banner. Kesley Reed grabbed a banner with her reserve heavyweight and 5th overall breeding gilt. R***r Cummings also snagged some hardware with the champion berkshire gilt along with reserve champion first year exhibitor. Fantastic job! Also a shout out to Addie Downing, Allison Downing, Braylon Sutter and Skylynn Betterton on driving their pigs to competitive placings. I also want to thank the families behind these kids. It takes a team effort to have this success! Great job by all.
