We had another great weekend hosting our CPE CSS (scent) trial at the Lake Springfield Baptist Camp in Chatham, IL.

Thank you Judges Kim Dykstra
and Elisa Jones for setting up fun searches that were level appropriate with challenges. You both greeted the competitors with smiles and explained the search areas well.

Thank you to Marilyn Steward and Toni for super efficient scoring and labels for ribbons. Thank you to Lynn Luttrell and Christy Tapp for being our amazing parking lot team - Keeping teams moving in the right directions to the search areas.

A huge shout out to ALL the volunteers who jumped in to help and made our trial run efficiently. It takes a village to help with set up, gate stewarding, judge assistants, and packing back up.

You all are amazing !!!

Our hope is that each competitor enjoyed the weekend with their wonderful four-legged team mate. Some teams earned ribbons, some earned titles but all of you made memories together to be cherished. Some of us (me) even learned to be sure I knew what level I was competing in and to not call finish before my dog found all the hides … but again, it will be a great memory.

Hug your four-legged team mates !!!

Share your amazing photos from the weekend in the comments - we love to see them ❤️
