Introducing our brand new Siemens 1.5T MAGENTOM Flow.Ace MRI - only the second one of its kind in the country! Improved technology allows for fantastic quality imaging while reducing anesthesia time and environmental impact - as a nature lover, I appreciate the later. We hope to follow in the brilliant footsteps of and do this magnet the justice it deserves!

It will take about 3 weeks to get this MRI ready to rock, but luckily we are still able to use our temporary MRI for another 2 weeks, keeping our down time to a minimum.

We’re proud to be building something special - an extraordinary team of neurologists and staff working toward the first U.S. veterinary hospital with a neurologist available 24/7. There’s still a lot to figure out, but we’re excited to learn and privileged to serve all neurological pets whenever they need care. 💙🐶🐱

Welcome back to the Bay, Dr. Otamendi! Neuro Vet is ecstatic to announce that we will be adding a third neurologist a month from today!

Dr. Otamendi, originally from Venezuela and raised in New Orleans, built his career through LSU, North Carolina State, and Texas A&M. He’s practiced in leading hospitals across California and Louisiana and now brings advanced neurological care to Neuro Vet. Outside the clinic, he’s a classically trained bassoonist and trombonist, fitness enthusiast, and outdoor explorer.
