Rare training board availability!

Due to a long time client moving out of state I have room for one. This would be for a full or partial training horse/rider looking for improvement in a current discipline, learning a new discipline or simply looking to further education or confidence.

We are a small private facility that focuses on community, inclusivity and correct fundamentals of horsemanship.

While our primary sport is Eventing, all riders are welcome. Horses live out full time but with equal access to stalls with fans as needed/wanted.

*Indoor sand arena
*Large outdoor grass jump field with full course set at most all times
*Access to hundreds of acres of farm land for hacking/conditioning.
*Heated and a/c lounge
*Bathroom heated in winter
*Some lesson horse availability

Fun day to kick off the 2025 season at the jumpers.
Some new horse and rider pairs got their first outing together and some of our longtime partnerships got to play with the bigger fences.
Not too bad after a couple hard weather months!

What to say about 2024?

5 riders, 8 events

These girls put up:
⭐ 16 of 17 clear cross country runs. (one TE 😉 to keep that from a perfect record)
⭐ 12 of 16 stadium jumping rounds clear and no one had more than one rail in a course.
⭐18 dressage tests.
13 below a 35.0
4 sub 30
⭐ 2 of our riders completed their first recognized horse trials at Heritage and Windermere. Both completed on their dressage score at each event.
⭐One rider made the move up to Training Level and achieved the USEA Blue Ribbon Award.
⭐ One rider achieved the Blue Ribbon Award at Novice

And most important??

⭐⭐⭐ Every rider finished this year with a healthy happy horse. Every rider is stronger and more confident. Every rider is ready for a move up in 2025.

Congratulations to every rider on the CSH team. You have made me unspeakably proud and humbled to be part of your journey.

What an incredible weekend at Otter Creek farm! I have an amazing group of friends and clients that make this sport exactly what it should be. Fun and inspiring.

As a lot of people know, it's been a very long road bringing Bayou back to competition after an EPM diagnosis 6 years ago. His last event before the diagnosis was a horrible experience for him at Otter Creek Farm. He was stressed and unhappy to the point of being out of control. We didn't complete that event to say the very least.

This past weekend was the return to the scene of the crime. Out first trip back and boy did By remember last time! He was nervous and on edge but so so brave for me this time. He kept it together (mostly 😅) and we completed in fine form. Each day better than the last.

I won't pretend I wasn't dry heaving in the toilets before XC but my crew had my back and talked me out of withdrawing each day.

Special thank you to Mallory Stiver and Tyrel Stiles for being understanding of my nervous breakdown and having faith in me and this silly damaged horse.

I am truely looking forward to more events and can finally start to believe we really will make an eventing pair yet.
