Now offering...Drop-In Visits in New Glarus! 🐾

Whether you’re at work, have a long commute, running errands, or away for the day, you can have peace of mind knowing your dog is getting a loving visit in the comfort of their own home.

These aren't just ordinary drop-in visits either, they are done by a professional trainer! Kellsey will come to your home to spend 20-30 minutes with your pup, tailoring the visit to your pup's needs and preferences.

Drop-in visits are $30 for up to two dogs.
Enrichment or walk add-ons are available.

I personally know so many great local business owners in Southwest Wisconsin who are bringing together the best products and services to improve the quality of our dogs’ lives.🐶

Our dogs can’t choose their food, treats, chews or supplements. We make those decisions for them but that responsibility can feel overwhelming, especially with so many options and opinions available.

But you don’t have to figure it all out alone. I’m fortunate to personally know so many knowledgeable, passionate local business owners who are thoughtfully bringing together quality products, professional services and helpful resources to make it easier for dog owners to make informed choices.

If your dog is dealing with constant itching, recurring ear issues, digestive upset, mobility issues, excess weight or other signs that they may not be feeling their best, nutrition is so impactful. It may not be the whole answer, and it shouldn’t replace veterinary care when needed but what goes into your dog’s bowl can play an important role in their overall health and quality of life.

Rooted Canine Collective will be joining this list soon! Our online store will be launching shortly, with carefully selected foods, treats, chews, supplements and other products we genuinely believe in. We’ll also offer free local drop-off in the New Glarus area. Retail store hopefully coming soon as well!

There’s no single perfect food, feeding philosophy or product for every dog. There are so many options out there but we’re here to help narrow that down! Please go out and support the great local businesses that are working so hard to improve the quality of our dogs’ lives.

Every step helps support the animals at the Green County Humane Society!

This fun is happening right here in our hometown of New Glarus! 💚🐾

We’re so excited for the Fast & Furriest 5K and hope to see plenty of familiar faces and wagging tails there! 🐕🏃‍♀️

Get Ready to Run (or Wag) for a Cause: Join Us at the Fast and Furriest 5K! 🏃

Calling all animal lovers, runners, walkers, and tail-waggers! The Green County Humane Society (GCHS) is thrilled to announce the upcoming Fast and Furriest 5K: a fun run/walk where every step you take helps support the amazing animals at GCHS.

This year we’re taking it up a notch and encouraging our participants to grab their costumes or Halloween gear and get into the spirit with us! Our animals will also be wearing their best costumes, so grab your friends and dogs and start thinking of what you could dress up as!

📆Saturday, October 10th at 9:00 AM (Registration begins at 8:30 AM)
📍Sugar River Trail, New Glarus, WI

Bring Your Furry Friend!
Got a friendly, leash-trained pup? Bring them along! Dogs are more than welcome to join the fun — just make sure they’re comfortable around other animals and people. Add your dog as a participant for $10 and they receive a GCHS Bandana!

One of the best parts about moving to New Glarus is being closer to some incredible trainers I’ve known and recommended for years.

We all got our start in the IGP world, and it has been great watching them bring that experience and knowledge into the pet-dog industry. I’ve known some of them for nearly eight years, and they continue to be people I trust and feel confident recommending:
