Well, I survived my 58th birthday!

The animals and I are all fine.
On the drive home they got six bags of ice in thier water buckets and on top of the shavings in the trailer.

Charlie got ham and cheese sliders, which Elsa helped him eat.

Thank you so much to the three AWESOME people who brought me ice water and made me sit down while they loaded the animals and everything else. Also, thank you to the young man who sent a donation to the farm.

Sally Ruth dug her den back out. Hopefully she'll stop laying in the mud with the pigs now. 🤦‍♀️

Charlie stayed in the farm store the first week he was here. He graduated to coming out off leash and playing with Bear and Blue. Sally Ruth was still trying to bite him through the fence whenever he tried to he got close. Last Tuesday we decided to put him in with the donkeys and block Sally's "pass-under" into that pasture. It didn't take long until he and Sally were laying side by side on opposite sides of the fence. Friday we opened the gate and let Sally in with him. Quick sniff, and Sally walked off. Charlie spent most of Friday with both Sally and Gastone. The only issue was getting Gastone to leave Charlie and go back in with his goats. 🤣 . Ashlyn Nicole thank you for trusting us to give Charlie a home.

When you get an hour long pedicure with leg massage then go home and do farm chores. 🤦‍♀️
