Puppies are a blast, but sometimes the excitement gets the better of them. That's why our daycare staff is always watching body language and play styles. If two pups start getting a little too hyped, we'll give them a quick break so everyone can calm down before jumping back into the fun.

Good daycare isn't about letting dogs play nonstop. It's about knowing when to step in so play stays safe, appropriate, and enjoyable for everyone. 🐾❤️

If you board with us regularly, this is a great way to save 10% while planning ahead for vacations, weekend trips, and holiday travel.

30-Night Boarding Packages

🐶 Standard Package
30 nights for $1,485
(that’s $49.50/night instead of $55)

🎓 Alumni Package
30 nights for $1,188
(that’s $39.60/night instead of $44)

How it works
✅ 30 prepaid boarding nights
✅ Credits do not have to be used consecutively
✅ Can be used for multiple dogs on the same account
✅ Each dog uses 1 credit per night
✅ Valid for 1 year from date of purchase

To add a package to your account, go to your client portal in Time to Pet, click "Schedule" in the drop down menu and the "Add Package" button will appear in the top right corner. Once you've clicked the package, it will direct you to schedule a reservation.

If you already have your next reservation booked but want to take advantage of the new package, just shoot Marissa a message in your portal and she'll add the package and adjust your invoice. The package does have to be paid for in full at the time of purchase in order to use it. Boarding reservations will be invoiced separately if the package has not been paid for.

These packages are perfect for clients who board throughout the year and want the convenience of paying ahead while saving on future stays. You can share one package between multiple pets.

Big day for our Charlie girl! 🥹🐾🎓

Charlie graduated from her Good Dog Foundations obedience class at John K9, LLC AND passed her AKC Canine Good Citizen test! 🏅

Charlie originally did her CGC when she was under a year old, so with over 8 years having passed, we decided it was time for a little refresher! She passed with flying colors and has officially completed ALL of her therapy dog requirements 🥳❤️🐾

Just a little reminder that your dog is never too old to learn something new, take a class, and work towards a new goal! There’s always room to learn and grow😅

A huge thank you to the John K9 team for always meeting each of our dogs where they’re at, recognizing their individual needs, and helping us work toward our goals. We’re so grateful for your patience, encouragement, and support over the past 8 years! ❤️

Ready to take your dog's skills to the next level? Our next round of group classes at John K9 kicks off November 6 & 7, and we've got something for everyone, from beginners to seasoned graduates!

🐕 6 Weeks | $150 per Dog | Limited Spots!

📅 FRIDAYS | Starting November 6

🐾 5:00 PM – Agility Foundations

Jump, climb, weave, and build confidence! This beginner-friendly class introduces dogs and handlers to agility obstacles while improving communication, coordination, and teamwork.

✅ No prerequisites! However, we recommend dogs have a solid understanding of basic obedience, even around distractions.

🐾 6:00 PM – Agility: Beyond Basics

Ready to level up? This class builds on the skills learned in Agility Foundations, introducing more challenging obstacle sequences, improved handling techniques, and smoother communication between dog and handler.

✅ Open to graduates of our Agility Foundations class.

📅 SATURDAYS | Starting November 7

🐾 9:00 AM – Good Dog Foundations

Build the foundation for a well-mannered companion! We'll work on essential obedience skills, leash manners, engagement, and communication to help you and your dog navigate everyday life with confidence.

✅ No prerequisites!

🚨 CLASS FULL! Good Dog Foundations has officially reached capacity! We're now accepting names for our cancellation list in case a spot becomes available.

🐾 10:00 AM – Rally Obedience (NEW!)

Looking for something fun to do with your already-trained dog? Rally is a team-based obedience sport where you and your dog navigate a course of numbered stations, each featuring a different obedience exercise. Think heeling, turns, sits, stays, and other fun challenges, all while working together as a team!

Unlike traditional obedience competitions, Rally encourages communication and teamwork throughout the course. It's a fantastic way to sharpen existing skills, build engagement, and give your dog a fun new challenge!

✅ Open to graduates of any John K9 obedience program or previous Good Dog Foundations classes.

🦃 A LITTLE HOLIDAY BREAK!

We know Thanksgiving week is all about family, food, and travel, so we're building a break right into our class schedule! There will be no group classes on November 27 & 28, giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy the holiday without missing a lesson.

Classes will resume December 4 & 5, with our final sessions wrapping up December 18 & 19. You'll still get all six weeks of training, just with a little time off for turkey (and maybe some extra practice at home)! 🦃🐶

Expected hours for drop off & pick up:
Friday: 6am-3pm, 7pm-9pm
Saturday: 6am-10am, 5pm-9pm
Sunday: 6am-10am, 5pm-9pm

We're all super excited about the festivities this weekend and ask that you plan ahead and be patient while we work around the competition. No dogs are able to move about the facility while competitors are actively working through the course.
