Friends, on Friday, 12/17/21, my sweet Oz suffered a series of seizures that his body could not recover from. He passed away at 6 pm encircled in my arms.
Writing this post is very difficult, so I won’t go into the details, but I believe he signaled to me it was okay to let go.
This grief is so incredibly deep, and I’m not sure what life will look like without him by my side. He was a part of me, of my every day, my thoughts, my daily plans….my running and hiking buddy, my companion and best friend. The absence of his presence is an incredible void.
John is grieving as well but taking care of me, allowing me full space to grieve, accepting every part of it. It’s a beautiful and loving gift.
My sweet and precious Ozzy the Great - thank you for letting me be a part of your life for almost 10 years. What a gift you were! What a funny, brave and loyal little furry friend. You could give side-eye like no other and you lived for adventure. I’m grateful for every moment we shared.
Thank you friends for following his page and letting me share with you the joy that was Ozzy. It truly was just that - complete joy.
