Heartbreaking News 💔
It is with deep sadness that we share that Penny went into preterm labor. As much as we hoped for a healthy and smooth delivery, things didn’t go as planned. Penny was expecting a smaller litter of 5-6 puppies, but she surprised us with 9. Unfortunately, her body was unable to manage the extra strain, and tragically, we lost 3 of the pups during the labor process. Despite our relentless efforts to keep them warm, bottle feed every 2-3 hours, and encourage bonding with Penny, we lost the remaining 6 as well.
As a family, we are heartbroken. Penny has been understandably confused and grieving each loss, constantly searching for her babies, and it breaks our hearts to see her so out of sorts. We are doing everything we can to support her through this tough time.
This experience has been incredibly difficult for us all, and we ask for your understanding and support during this time. We are truly grateful for all the love and encouragement we have received from our community. We’ll continue to give Penny all the care, love, and comfort she needs as we heal from this loss together.
