Labor Day weekend means cookouts, road trips, backyard fun, and plenty of opportunities for pets to get into trouble. Keep the celebration safe with a few simple reminders:

🍔 Keep pets away from grills, hot surfaces, and table scraps
🌭 Secure trash and keep skewers, bones, and food scraps out of reach
🚗 Never leave pets unattended in a hot car
💦 Provide plenty of fresh water and shade
🎆 Keep pets away from fireworks and loud celebrations
🐾 Make sure collars and ID tags are secure before heading out

Not every ear problem starts with obvious pain.

If your pet is frequently shaking their head, scratching at their ears, or avoiding touch around their head, it may be more than a minor irritation.
