Please share! We need some Castro Co applicants for low-cost spay/neuter

New spay/neuter opportunity!

We are getting some new funding for low-cost spay/neuter - just waiting for it to drop into our account!
With this funding, we can serve a couple additional counties, so we are starting with Castro County 😀. Castro County doesn’t have any rescues helping it - that we know, but of course they have the same overpopulation issues that we all face 😞

Here are details for getting help:

1. Must live in CASTRO CO
Funding is only to spay/neuter DOGS

2. Interested people need to send us an EMAIL:
[email protected] with:
name, address, phone, dog name, weight est., breed

3. Accepted applicants will need to pre-pay a non-refundable $20 co-pay for surgery. Grant funds pay the balance of SURGERY ONLY. Applicant pays for any extras.

4. If a dog is not current on a rabies vac, the dog is required to have that vac at owner’s cost ($15-20).

This is not “first come/first serve” because we we need to stay within grant budget requirements, but early apps have a better chance of acceptance.

Questions?

Apply through email: [email protected]
We will start accepting applicants once we have the funds.

Dog tested Dolly (black/white) with Freckles (spotted). Dolly seemed more interested in her foster mom than meeting a dog 🤷🏻‍♀️

So many dogs being dumped or let go 😞

These 2 showed up at some people’s house. The tan is female; the other is male.

If anyone would like to give either a home, we can set for a low-cost spay/neuter!

Foster or Foster-to-Adopt!

Chiweenie family needs help! It’s mom, dad, 4 pups - not all shown here.
They don’t need to stay together. Pups look old enough to be on their own.

If anyone would like to help, please message.

Say congrats to Jolly (brown) and Dazzle (white)! Instead of being killed at a rural shelter, they are in for vet services 😀, another step on the road to a better life!

Street Dogs of Tule Creek pulled them both at the last minute. ❤️❤️

Dazzle has a rescue. Jolly is available - and she is very nice!

Chamley is a little slower on the unload. He’d rather ride around with me. ❤️
