🏠🐾 HOUSECALL GROOMING IS COMING! 🐾🏠

We’re excited to announce that 2 days per month, Carly will be hitting the road and bringing ReBarkable grooming straight to your doorstep! 🚗✂️

Housecall appointments will be available for small–medium dogs only and will be offered on a limited basis. This new service is specifically for clients who are elderly, disabled, or otherwise have difficulty leaving their homes with their pets. 💚

✨ How it works:
• Regular grooming price + $30 housecall fee for Plainview and Kress
- $40 housecall fee for Hale Center
• Have multiple pups in the same household? EAch additional dog is only +$10!
• Limited appointments available
• Service area will be limited

🐶💚 Because this service is designed to help pets and owners who have difficulty making it to a salon, housecall appointments are on a case by case basis.

📅 Housecalls will be every other Tuesday with some exceptions near holidays.

🚨 IMPORTANT POLICY UPDATES 🚨

We are making some major changes to our salon policies. These changes are necessary to protect our schedule, our staff, and the time reserved specifically for your pets. ❤️

⏰ LATE ARRIVALS

We offer a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals.

After 15 minutes:
🐾 Small dogs: $10 late fee
🐾 Large dogs: $20 late fee
➕ $5 for every additional 15 minutes, up to 1 hour late.

Late fees do not guarantee that we can accommodate the appointment. Depending on our schedule, appointments may not be able to be accepted after 30 minutes.

🚫 NO-SHOWS

No-shows have become a serious problem, and we can no longer continue absorbing the cost of repeatedly missed appointments.

Clients with a history of no-shows may be subject to a no-show fee and/or prepayment for future appointments. This applies even if you have only missed one appointment.

For clients who are required to pay a no-show fee, the fee must be paid before another appointment can be scheduled.

Please pay close attention to dates and times when you receive your appointment confirmations. They are sent out the day BEFORE your appointment.

We understand that emergencies happen, and we always encourage you to communicate with us when plans change. Our goal isn't to punish anyone—it's to protect our schedule and ensure that appointment times are respected.

We truly appreciate everyone who respects their appointments and helps us keep ReBarkable running smoothly! 🐾💚

"Can you do a deshed?"
Absolutely! But what does that actually mean?
A deshed treatment is designed to remove loose, dead coat from your pet's hair cycle.
It can help:
✨ Reduce the amount of loose hair around your home
✨ Remove packed undercoat
✨ Improve airflow through the coat
✨ Keep your pet more comfortable
✨ Help your coat stay healthier between appointments

But here's the important part:
❌ A deshed does not stop your dog from shedding.
❌ It does not remove all shedding forever.
❌ It does not mean your dog won't need brushing at home.
All dogs with hair or fur shed to some degree — that's a normal part of their coat cycle!
A proper deshed includes the right combination of:
🛁 Bathing with appropriate products
💨 High-velocity drying
🪮 Proper brushing and combing techniques
Think of it like cleaning out the loose leaves from a tree — you can remove what's ready to fall, but the tree will keep growing new leaves. 🌳🐾

This is one of the most common requests groomers hear… but here's the secret:
A Puppy Cut is not an actual haircut length or style.
Unlike a breed pattern or a specific clip, “puppy cut” doesn't tell your groomer:
✂️ How short you want the body
✂️ How fluffy you want the face
✂️ How much hair to leave on the legs
✂️ What style you are picturing

To one person, a puppy cut means a short, easy-maintenance trim.

You asked for a Teddy Bear Cut… but what does that actually mean?

A “Teddy Bear Cut” usually means two things:
✨ A fluffy, rounded face
✨ Fluffy, rounded feet

That’s it!
The term does not tell your groomer how long you want the body, legs, tail, or ears left. A Teddy Bear Cut can be short and practical, medium and fluffy, or longer and more plush.

When scheduling your pup’s groom, help us create the look you love by:
📸 Bringing a reference photo
✂️ Letting us know the length you prefer
