🌻Special Pupdate from ADOPTABLE Fauna🌻
It was a cool and rainy morning when local school teacher Christine first met Fauna. This poor girl was drenched and confused, darting through traffic and fleeing from motorists who had stopped to contain her. Weighing a mere 53 lbs and horribly weak, Fauna sought comfort in Christine's efforts and climbed into the car with her rescuer.
After dropping her off at the police station Christine continued to worry about Fauna's well being and diligently checked on her progress here at the shelter. She never imagined that she would be watching this once hopeless dog enjoy a carefree life running and playing with her stuffies. We would like to thank Christine for stopping to save this sweet girl and for bringing her to a safe haven where she will know nothing but love and comfort. Fauna is now ready for a family of her own and would do best with children 12 and older as her past food insecurity has understandably made her a defensive eater. She has the potential to live with a large breed male dog and would be open to a play session to determine compatibility. This big gal is a serial kisser who is not always conscious of her size and wants nothing more than to be your loyal lap dog.
