🐾 Meet the Groomer: Raegan! 🩵

We’re excited to introduce another incredibly talented member of the Classy Tails family, Raegan!

With nearly 8 years of grooming experience, Raegan brings an impressive combination of skill, confidence, creativity, and compassion to our salon. She also serves as our Assistant Manager, helping lead and support our growing team alongside owners Chelsea and Jen.

Raegan is one of those people who seems to have a natural gift for what she does. She’s hardworking, thoughtful, and has a wonderful eye for detail. Whether she’s creating a beautiful Poodle trim, hand-scissoring the perfect finishing touches, or giving a dog a complete makeover, her talent really shines through.

But there’s so much more to Raegan than her grooming skills. She has a huge heart for animals, especially those who need a little extra patience. One of her favorite parts of grooming is watching a shy or anxious dog gradually begin to trust her and become comfortable with the process. Those little moments of progress mean just as much to her as a beautiful finished groom.

She’s also someone who genuinely enjoys sharing her knowledge and helping others grow. Her kindness, strong work ethic, and natural leadership make her someone we’re proud to have helping guide our team.

When she’s not grooming, Raegan enjoys riding her two horses, hiking with her Dachshund, Buckley, spending time with family and friends, and catching a good concert. She’s also a big fan of audiobooks, especially while she’s working. And if you really want to know the way to her heart, coffee is a pretty good place to start! ☕️

Raegan is excited to be part of Classy Tails as we continue to grow, and we’re incredibly fortunate to have her talent, leadership, and kindness on our team.

🐾 Meet the Groomer: Jenica! 🩵

We’re excited to introduce another wonderful addition to the Classy Tails family, Jenica!

With about 7 years of grooming experience, Jenica brings a gentle touch, a calm presence, and a wonderful eye for creating adorable, beautifully finished grooms.

One of the things we love most about watching Jenica work is how naturally she connects with the dogs on her table. She has a quiet, patient approach that seems to put even the shyest and most anxious dogs at ease. There’s no rushing or fuss, just a soft voice, gentle hands, and a genuine love for what she does. And the finished results? Some seriously cute dogs! 🥰

Golden Retrievers, Poodles, and Doodles are among her favorites to groom, but it’s those nervous dogs who begin to relax and show a little more confidence that really make her day.

When she’s not making dogs look adorable, Jenica loves cooking up recipes of her own creation, baking, and spending time with her husband and their 2-year-old Great Pyrenees/Poodle mix, Wraith.

Jenica is excited to continue growing with the Classy Tails team and building relationships with our clients and their dogs.

We’re so happy to have her here and can’t wait for more of you to experience the wonderful care and talent she brings to our salon! 🩵🐾

Things have been BUSY around here lately, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

The last several weeks have been filled with familiar faces, lots of new ones, beautiful grooms, wagging tails, and plenty of dog hair flying around!

As our little Classy Tails family continues to grow, one thing hasn’t changed. We genuinely love what we do, and we’re having so much fun doing it!

We’re incredibly grateful for the trust our clients place in us and for the opportunity to get to know so many wonderful dogs and their people.

We have some exciting things happening around the salon and a few new faces to introduce very soon!

You guys have been keeping our phones BUSY! 🩵

We’ve had so many calls from people trying to get their dogs in that one of our groomers has decided to pick up an extra shift tomorrow!

First, THANK YOU. We are so incredibly grateful that so many of you continue to trust us with your dogs and recommend Classy Tails to others.

Just a little scheduling tip! 🩵

If you’re trying to schedule online and aren’t finding a day or time that works for you, give us a call!

Our online schedule doesn’t always show every option we may be able to offer. A few days each week we have some extra hands in the salon helping behind the scenes, which sometimes gives us the flexibility to accommodate a few additional dogs.

We can’t promise we’ll always have something available, but it never hurts to ask!

Online scheduling is a great way to book, but if you don’t see something that fits your schedule, give us a call before you give up. We may have a few tricks up our sleeve that you can’t see online. 🩵

We have some exciting things happening at Classy Tails next week! 🩵

Starting Monday, our little crew is getting a little bigger!

We have two experienced groomers joining the Classy Tails team, along with a Tolles high school student who will be interning with us throughout the school year.

We’ve been incredibly busy and booking several weeks out, so we are VERY excited about what this means for our clients too. As everyone gets settled in and onboarded, you’ll start seeing some earlier appointment availability opening up!

We’re so grateful for everyone who has been patient with us while we’ve been growing. We never want growth to mean sacrificing the calm, one-on-one care that makes Classy Tails what it is, so we’ve been taking our time finding the right people to add to our crew.

We’ll be sharing more about our newest team members soon so you can get to know them. For now, we’re just REALLY excited about Monday. 🐾🩵

Holy cow… we just wrapped up our SIXTH MONTH in business! 🩵

What an absolutely incredible six months it has been.

When we opened the doors to Classy Tails, we hoped our little community would give us a chance. We could never have imagined just how quickly you all would show up for us.

We are SO BUSY. 😂 Our little Classy Tails crew is working our tails off, and right now we’re booking almost three weeks out. We continue to meet new clients and new dogs every single week, and somehow we’re still having just as much fun as we did when we opened.

We are so incredibly grateful to every single person who has trusted us with their pets, recommended us to a friend, shared one of our posts, left us a kind review, or simply told someone, “You should try Classy Tails.” You have helped grow this business faster than we ever dreamed.

And now… we’re growing again!

We’re in the middle of a pretty big hiring push and working hard to add some great new people to the Classy Tails crew. We also have two local high school interns joining us next week, which we’re really excited about!

As we grow, we’re asking for just a little continued patience from everyone. Bringing new people into our salon and getting them comfortable with the way we do things takes time, and we want to do it the right way. Our goal isn’t just to make more appointments available. It’s to grow while still giving your pets the same care and experience you’ve come to expect from us.

And we couldn’t talk about our first six months without being grateful for the people who show up every day — and the ones who just keep showing up to help us because apparently they love us. 😂🩵 It truly takes a crew to keep this crazy little place running.

Six months down, and we seriously cannot believe this is our life.

Thank you, Plain City. Thank you to every one of our clients. Thank you for trusting us with your pets and for making Classy Tails busier, happier, and more fun than we ever imagined it could be.

We can’t wait to see what the next six months bring. 🩵
