To all our wonderful friends and customers:
It is not often that we have a chance to talk. So we would like to start this communication with a simple thought:
Thank You!
Thank you for being there for us over the past seven years as we grew from place to place; first in a small house by the canal, then in a bigger house on the main street, and then to an even bigger house on the same street.
Thank you for letting us see your joy when you bring home your new puppy. Thank you for trusting us with your dog for their first toy, collar, and grooming experience. And with those moments of grief and loss when your beloved dog had to leave you for their next adventure.
You have watched our little Fido grow up. And helped us to become like family.
As many of you know, we have had problems with our building from the time we first moved in. Those problems had grown to a point where we became significantly concerned for the safety and welfare of our employees, customers, and of course your dogs.
We communicated and worked diligently with the building owners, contractors, and local leadership to improve conditions and make the space more viable for our needs.
It is disappointing that, despite our significant investment and patience with these groups, they simply seem not to share our urgency, willingness or commitment to these issues.
And so it is time for a change. We have been blessed to find a new group of dog enthusiasts who are willing to take up the cause. There are several viable locations in close proximity, and a decision will be made in the next week. After a short renovation process, the new concept will launch.
We hope you will love our new and improved location. And rest assured, you will get the same great care, the same service, and our unwavering love of dogs you received at Fido’s.
