I am looking for someone who wants to ride, FOR FREE, while I'm out of the saddle. I cannot stand to watch this incredible mare sit here and rot!

The only requirements would be that you must be able to ride consistently each week and take 1 lesson.

Absolutely everything else will be maintained financially by CVE.

The barn is quiet and private with only a handful of wonderful owners and a few lovely lesson kids. There's no competing to find time to ride or avoiding people who ruin the peace of barn time.

Complete use of all the facilities. Both outdoors, indoor, and the back mile track is finally dry enough for hacks and breezing!

Adeline is an incredibly fun and easy ride. But she is young and has been out of work for several months due to a soft tissue injury. So she is going to be spicy to restart. If you can't sit a buck, maintian a wiggly baby, or balance a weak youngster - this isn't the right fit for you.

The attached video is from a few days after I bought her last year. Threw her on the trailer after only 1-2 rides to see how she'd handle being thrown into the chaos of schooling at a show.

Remi has been crucial to our lesson program for the last 12 years. Although he is the perfect lesson horse, he has earned his right to be retired from this lifestyle. Offsite lease will only be to a solo lessee where he will have his own person.

Will be sent with his saddle, bridle, half pad, and all his blankets/fly gear.

Important Information:
-Remi will do everything from leadline to 3' safely (His lease will be limited to 2'6" as it's time for him to step down
-Weight limit
-The ultimate show horse: no prep, stall to ring, no stop, self loads
-Forgives and forgets: will not hold a grudge against a rider who accidentally yanks his face off or gets left behind at a jump
-Point and shoot at any fence
-Happy to go trail ride for hours
-Requires coffin injections every 12 months (was done in April)
-Requires bar shoes up front. Barefoot behind.
-Has an auto simple lead change. Has potential for a flying lead change with the right rider and program.
-Easy keeper
-Requires dorm gel for farrier. Can be done without it but is anxious to be worked on after a farrier roughed him up. Easier on him and farrier to sedate lightly.
-Remi is a nice boy who is loved by many. After being out of an intense lesson program - he is back to being a puppy dog to handle and be around. He bonds nicely with his rider and is easy to handle.

Perfect job for a hard working teen or college kid home for the summer

Commercial horse farm in East Bloomfield NY seeking help for the spring and summer months to help upkeep our large property

Majority of work will be landscaping and labor centered

Must be able to lift 50lbs+ and use a w**d whacker for several hours at a time (This is not a pick and choose type situation. We need people who can do all that's listed. W**d whacking is 60%+ of the job. 3 w**dwhackers available - grab a buddy and bring them along!)

No set days or hours. Flexible schedule. Just want someone who can truly dedicate a chunk of time each week to staying on top of our giant to do list!

BACKGROUND:

Adeline is young, high quality, hack winning TB who is unraced. Do not let her chestnut coat or gender fool you - she is a lapdog with a personality that matches her talent.

She was purchased in 2025 to join my lease and show program and was exceeding our wildest expectations. But an unfortunate soft tissue injury derailed our progress. During her rehab - I became pregnant and am having some physical complications that have ended my saddle time. The unfortunate timing of the 2 situations has forced me to realize I will not be able to bring her back into work myself. I do not want this talented young mare sitting on the back burner while I bounce back from my pregnancy. She is not back into full work yet and will need to be reconditioned - which is reflected in the fact that this is a care lease. She has been cleared by Cornell to return to work.

TRAINING:
- W/T/C with voice commands under saddle
-Basic dressage (leg yields, collects, lengthens, connects with the bit, long and low, shoulder-in/haunch-in, basic transitions)
-Flying change when in shape
-Has jumped up to 2'
-Push ride, but holds her gait (when in consistent work)

*Everything will be rusty as she is not back in full work yet!

She is going to need an experienced rider to bring her back into work. She is a push ride when in full work but is probably going to be spicy after such a lengthy rehab with strict stall rest.

SHOWING:
Has traveled to several shows to school but was not entered due to age and training at the time.

PERSONALITY:

Adeline's personality is what makes her a barn favorite. She loves humans and doesnt appear to have a mean bone in her body. She will snuggle all day long and is kind to the beginners and kids.

She needs sedation for clipping as the buzzing still makes her a bit nervous - but we're sure she'll overcome it with time and exposure.

Although she has hacked young children around in lessons and ba****ck pre injury - she is NOT bombproof and still has young horse moments that need to be met with a confident handler.
