Parrot Hope Rescue will be hosting an adoption event at our shop this Saturday 9/5 from 10:30am-1:30pm.
We wanted to share the personal experience adopting from them from one of our employees and a familiar beak around our shop!
Max was adopted from Parrot Hope Rescue on January 3, 2021 by our associate, Jess! Before that, he spent 10 wonderful years with his other Mom, who gave him so much love and ultimately helped bring him and his new family together. 💕 (She still visits Max regularly to this day!🥰)
Max was a regular at the store, often boarding there while his mom worked three jobs. Jess would take him out every week, building a bond long before adoption day. When Max went to the rescue, the application to bring him home was submitted right away!
Max was originally found abandoned in an apartment, and according to neighbors he estimated to be around 34!
